Declassified surveillance imagery taken by the U.S. CORONA, GAMBIT and HEXAGON satellites is montaged with footage captured from CIA aircraft spy missions during the Cold War, during the photoreconnaissance program. Commercial airplanes taking off / landing from John F. Kennedy airport (captured June 2016) appears alongside this imagery, while you hear parts from a Walter Cronkite CBS news broadcast reporting on the achievement of the 1969 USA lunar landing after the Apollo 11 Mission.
The title is taken from Richard Nixon’s “Proclamation 3919—National Day of Participation Honoring the Apollo 11 Mission.”
